The College holds training days during the school holidays, open to those with no previous experience of race-riding, through to seasoned junior jockeys, age 9 to 15 years old. Ponies of all shapes and sizes are welcome to take part. The overall aim of a training day is to improve the junior jockey’s position, technique and confidence whilst riding at speed and to develop their understanding of race-riding and the horseracing industry.
